Chris went on to study music at the University of Westminster and Royal College Of Music, London, where he was mentored by film-makers and composers including Anthony Minghella, Gabriel Yared, Debbie Wiseman, Dario Marianelli and Nigel Hess.

Since graduating, Chris has performed with artists such as Busted, McFly, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Sugababes; and composed for shows as diverse as Strictly Dance Fever, National Lottery, Ross Noble, Dead Ringers, and Spain's Tele Madrid News, winning a Silver Broadcast Design Award for Best News Theme.

Chris' music for Space Pirates, described as "genius" by BBC Radio 1, spent an astonishing 11 weeks at #1 on the iTunes Childrens' Chart.

His title song for the acclaimed How To Start Your Own Country was described as "brilliant" by the Radio Times, "dangerously catchy" by Bella Online, and "worthy of Top Of The Pops" by the Daily Mirror. The series went on to win two BAFTAs in 2006.

His first film, the comedy/drama Adam & Steve, won Best Film at the Malaysian Video Awards.

With his infectious enthusiasm, eclectic musical background, and relentless desire to give programmes a strong sonic identity, Chris is now much in demand as a composer for television.
